Therapy is a powerful healing tool that can help individuals, relationships, families, and communities. Participating in Individual Therapy can assist individuals to enrich their sense of meaning, connection, and purpose in life. It can also increase the ability to understand and express feelings, heal from past experiences, gain new perspectives on past life events and/or current relationships, improve their life satisfaction, and clarify their dreams for the future.

Therapy

Any time there is a change or a transition, no matter how exciting,  there is also an aspect of loss. A fundamental part of change and transition in life is that what was is no longer.

When we choose to step into a new stage of life there is anticipation, excitement, joy, nervousness, and expectations of what’s to come. When reality doesn’t meet expectations transitions can feel harder than you imagined they would be.

Supportive therapy during this time can help you get back to the positive experiences of change.

Life Transitions

I have worked alongside of many individuals as they heal from their trauma. Reliving trauma looks like frequent thoughts about an incident you don't want to be thinking about, not being able to enjoy major areas of your life because you are reminded of the trauma, nightmares, or excessive fear. If there is something in your past that you can’t seem to shake, perhaps it is time to find support.

There is freedom from overwhelming feelings and memories associated with a trauma. The fact that you are reading this means you are ready for this next step in helping yourself.

Trauma

Replaying mistakes, feeling deeply judged, or, at your core, not feeling like enough for yourself or those you love are symptoms that bog us down. Anxiety and depression born from this place are painful to live through day to day.

Who could you be without the weight of these negative thoughts? Together we will answer that question and work to make the answer your reality.
